Magento 1.x to 2.x Migration

While the data can be migrated using the data migration tool, re-writing is necessary for the theme, extensions, and customizations. This is due to the platform differences between Magento 1.x and Magento 2, rendering anything written for Magento 1.x incompatible with Magento 2.
